James and tweens alike are into it, but whatever, I think the important thing to remember with a queen like Milk, who’s essentially the fan pick this season, is not to give her full credit for just giving us something different.Įssentially, I’m into her persona but at this point in time I’m not seeing the drag caliber that makes me think she could handle the crown. I get that both established professionals like Mathu and James St. Whatever, keep your eyes peeled, gurls, there’s gotta be a sex tape of her somewhere.Ĭoncerning her drag, here’s the thing, I like her and find her charming, but there’s no amount of edgyness that’s going to make me think that her outfit didn’t just look like a tarp over a jump suit with a goatee that seems to have been thrown in just for weird points. Like come on, Milk, throw us a bone(r pic). Seriously, what a cutie if only I could find more skin of her than this: Milk– Gurl, I may need some Milk because I am weak in the knees! Well, as odd a request as this is, here at ReganWrite, I’m dedicated to making dreams come true so lap it up, Joslyn: Which is also due to the fact that she seems to have an underlying dementedness to her, as if she were Elmyra from Tiny Toon Adventures, which she demonstrated by expressing her desire to lick Santino’s bald head. However, the downside of her sweetness is sometimes it can get a little party size bag of Sugar Patch Kids where at the end you’re a little nauseous. This one is so sugary sweet I’m gonna end up with diabetes, and it feels like every time the camera switches to her we switch genres to 80’s Saturday cartoon. Joslyn Fox– In her defense, she probably doesn’t have the ability to see neutral tones. Something my roommate noticed was that Trinity wears a flipper while in drag which leads to giving us a Tyra Sanchez Before and After Drag Race effect. However, her look proved she’s creative and not afraid to branch out in the looks department without, uh, looking like she’s wearing a tarp with a goatee (we’ll get there in a minute). Trinity K Bonet– Trinity is a special character in that I spent most of the main episode disliking her inane commentary but when she got real in Untucked and schooled Magnolia I softened to her. That being said, every interview segments of hers still annoy the hell out of me because it’s straightup LaShauwn Beyond part 2. Like come on, Michelle, it’s your job as the best friend to know when to say no. Lastly, let’s be real: Ru’s pronunciation of her name alone was reason enough to have her eliminated. However, if Untucked wasn’t enough for you, watch the awkwardness continue with Michelle’s post-elimination interview! I just wish I didn’t have to witness it for 20-ish minutes. I’d counter some of her arguments, but I think it’s pretty clear that her attempt to seem like a bitch was a vain attempt to grasp for some dignity without thinking, and it’s hard not to relate in that respect since we’ve all been there. And how! I did not see her crash and burning as badly as she did though. That reference is still current, right?Īnyway, from least to most, here’s how the queens entertained me this episode:īut seriously, my first impression was dead-on: The vacant blonde who’s the first to go in a horror movie. However, that being said, I do have to say that the prospect of the current 12 queens finally meeting is incredibly exciting.Īlso, what was that twerking segment? It seems like every season Drag Race has more and more moments where it becomes Regina George’s mom in that it tries too hard to stay current and fails terribly. Especially since apparently only four out of fourteen contestants has a solid grasp on their ability to sew/hot glue an impressive outfit together which does not bode well for the eventual ball that happens with the Top 4. It’s as I predicted: Ru axed Magnolia to leave.įormat: Having seen the stronger group in this two-part premiere I have to say: I still think it was a bad idea to have two.
